WHS provided over 7,000 low-cost spay & neuter procedures, 2,000 of which were for community cats. Humane Education reached almost 3,000 students through school, community, volunteer and intern programs. Humane Law Enforcement Officers observed more than 3,000 animals. ACC is available to help animals 24 hours a day, seven days a week, regardless of weather, time of day or night, or the species of animal.Īnimal Control & Control Officers responded to more than 14,000 calls. ACC Officers and Investigators respond to over a 1,000 calls for assistance each month that can vary from a dog running loose, wildlife in distress, bite investigations, to a sick or injured animal – last year they responded to more than 14,000 calls.
